The Court has updated the list of motions that can be filed under Negative Notice. Under LBR 9007-1(f), Motions to approve compromise or settlement and approve fees and expenses filed by special counsel in Chapter 13 cases will be a combined motion, effective June 1, 2025.

The NDC has added the Plan Calc feature to their website. Trustee users and Debtor Attorneys can use this feature within the Case Summary page.

Due to developments in the spread of the COVID-19 virus, the judges of the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of Alabama have signed an amended administrative order extending the time-frame for which all hearings are to be held telephonically rather than in person through August 31, 2020. This order goes into effect immediately.
